Here's how you can donate to disaster relief for people in San Bernardino County affected by the Blue Cut Fire, or to the thousands affected in flood-ravaged southern Louisiana.

The Blue Cut Fire destroyed 105 homes and scorched more than 37,000 acres. The Inland Empire United Way and other community partners established the Blue Cut Fire Relief Fund. The Community Foundation, which serves San Bernardino and Riverside counties, kickstarted the fund with a $100,000 contribution.

"We are deeply concerned about the High Desert community and the devastation we are witnessing in the wake of this horrific fire," said Dr. Jonathan Lorenzo Yorba, president and CEO of the Community Foundation, in a statement. "By providing this grant, we hope to inspire more giving to the Fire Relief Fund at the Inland Empire United Way, and to support the recovery efforts of the many nonprofit organizations that are providing critical services to fire victims in our region."
