BURBANK, Calif. (KABC) --A shooting in Burbank on Monday evening left one person wounded, authorities said.
The incident was reported about 8:20 p.m. in the 1500 block of Scott Road, according to the Burbank Police Department.
Officers received reports of a shooting and a man down. When officers arrived, they found a 22-year-old Burbank resident on the sidewalk suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his lower body.
The victim was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. He is expected to survive, authorities said.
Police also located a second crime scene in the area of the 1600 block of N. San Fernando Boulevard, where evidence of a shooting was found.
No information about the shooter was immediately available.
Video from AIR7 HD showed multiple police vehicles at the scene, where a section of at least one street was closed.
