Video: 2 students struck in separate incidents near Texas school
Police Friday released two videos of kids in Austin, Texas, being hit by cars after getting off of a school bus.

AUSTIN, Texas (KABC) -- Police Thursday released two videos of kids in Austin, Texas, being hit by cars after getting off of a school bus.

On Monday, a driver is seen disregarding a 12-year-old student in the crosswalk and turning right into him.

The second video is a more disturbing incident, which happened Tuesday. A truck is seen slamming into a 17-year-old student crossing in front of the school bus, which was flashing its stop lights and sign at the time.

Both were expected to be OK, and both drivers were cited, according to officials from the Austin Independent School District.

The incidents were caught on newly installed school bus cameras, school officials said.

In just the first week of school, 900 citations were handed out, and school district officials warned drivers to be careful around buses.
