2-alarm fire burns at Burbank high-rise

BURBANK, Calif. (KABC) -- A two-alarm fire broke out Saturday night at a high-rise office building near the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank, fire officials said.

The fire was reported at about 9:30 p.m. in the 3300 block of West Riverside Drive, sending thick smoke throughout the building. The fire started on the first floor and was contained by the building's automatic sprinkler system, officials said.

It was unclear if anyone was injured or how much damage was caused.

An investigation into the cause was underway.
