MORENO VALLEY, Calif. (KABC) -- Two men were fatally shot in Moreno Valley Sunday night, Riverside County sheriff's officials confirm.

Moreno Valley police officers responded to reports of gunshots near Dracaea Avenue and Perris Boulevard at about 9:16 p.m.

When officers arrived on scene, they located two men lying on the sidewalk suffering from gunshot wounds. Medical personnel began life-saving measures, but both men succumbed to their injuries at the scene. Their names have been withheld pending notification of kin.

Investigators are still processing the crime scene. There is no word on whether any arrests have been made, or what led up to the incident.
