MONTCLAIR, Calif. (KABC) -- Detectives are looking for a "person of interest" after a 24-year-old man was shot to death in Montclair early Tuesday morning.
Authorities responded to the shooting in the area of Exeter Avenue and San Bernardino Street at 3:05 a.m. and found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds near bushes. The man was declared dead at the scene.
Officers learned that a red or burgundy sports car was seen leaving the area at a high rate of speed immediately after the shooting. Police are looking for the driver of the vehicle for questioning.
The victim's name has not been released.
