WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (KABC) -- A person was hospitalized after slamming into a West Hollywood business, a crash allegedly caused by a hit-and-run driver on the run.
The incident happened shortly after 3:30 a.m. Sunday in the 1200 block of La Brea Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
L.A. County sheriff's officials said a driver was traveling north on La Brea when he or she tried to make a turn and crashed into a car that was driving southbound.
The second car then crashed into a business. The driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Authorities were in search of the hit-and-run driver, who fled before crews arrived to the scene.
The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
