3 killed in 60 Freeway crash; ramps closed

CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif. (KABC) -- Three people were killed in a single-vehicle crash off the westbound 60 Freeway in the City of Industry on Sunday, authorities said.

The crash happened shortly before 7 a.m., the California Highway Patrol said. The car was exiting Crossroads Parkway when it flew into a construction site, authorities said.

According to L.A. County Fire, three people were pronounced dead on arrival.

The California Highway Patrol shut down the on and off-ramps at Crossroads Parkway for some time.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
