4.4-magnitude earthquake hits Monterey County
A magnitude-4.4 earthquake struck 17 miles east-northeast of Greenfield, California, around 5:21am PT, according to the USGS.

GREENFIELD, Calif. (KABC) -- A magnitude-4.4 earthquake shook parts of central and northern California Tuesday morning.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake struck 17 miles east-northeast of Greenfield, California, around 5:21 a.m. PT.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
