Arrest in V. Stiviano Assault Near New York City Hotel

An arrest has been made in the case of V. Stiviano, the woman at the center of the Donald Sterling controversy, who was assaulted by two men in New York City Sunday.

Dominick Diorio, 40, of Old Bethpage, New York, has been charged with third-degree assault as a hate crime, assault, harassment and aggravated harassment in connection with the incident involving Stiviano outside the Gansevoort Hotel, New York police said Tuesday.

News of the incident was first reported by RadarOnline. The situation happened at about 7 p.m. near the Gansevoort Hotel in Manhattan, said Mac Nehoray, Stiviano's lawyer.
