Body found near Kohl's in Newbury Park

NEWBURY PARK, THOUSAND OAKS (KABC) -- A male body was found near a Kohl's in Newbury Park Saturday morning, according to officials from the Ventura County Sheriff's Department.

Investigators and coroner officials investigated the scene in the 1900 block of Newbury Road near the department store.

Officials are investigating, but did not say immediately whether the death was suspicious. They said an autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
