Cabrillo Beach boat crash: 2 patients transported

SAN PEDRO, Calif. -- Two people were transported following a boat crash in San Pedro on Sunday, fire officials said.

The conditions of the two patients were not immediately known, Los Angeles County Fire said.

Long Beach fire officials said they received a distress call shortly before 10 p.m. after the 30-foot boat ran into rocks at Cabrillo Beach.

Long Beach fire transported one of the patients to the Cabrillo Beach launch ramp. The patient was then transferred to Los Angeles City Fire.
