Cadillac dealership in West Hollywood vandalized
Vandals have targeted Frank Corrente's classic car dealership on La Cienega Boulevard, damaging dozens of cars in the past month.

WEST HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The windshields of every classic car at Frank Corrente's dealership are cracked. He said it looks like vandals swung a small hammer at the Cadillacs and Rolls Royce's just enough to splinter, but not shatter the glass.

"I'm afraid to fix them up immediately, because whoever did this may come back. I don't know," Corrente said.

Vandals have targeted Corrente's classic car dealership on La Cienega Boulevard twice - once last week and once last month. They keyed the hoods and doors of some cars, slashed 10 convertible tops and damaged a rare car.

Only 400 1957 Eldorado Brougham were made. Corrente had been asking $100,000 for the rare Cadillac before it was damaged.

"To me everybody everybody's a suspect... I have no enemies that I know of, but who knows why anybody would do this. They'd have to be crazy to do that," Corrente said.

Dealer insurance will cover some of the repairs, but much of it will come out of Corrente's own pocket.

Corrente locks the gate at night and leaves the lights on. The cars face busy La Cienaga Boulevard, but whoever is responsible, hopped the fence and disabled a security camera. Corrente said he may hire a security guard to watch over his livelihood at night.

"I'd love to know who did it, maybe I can sleep better at night," Corrente said.

He plans to talk to an attorney about putting up a reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspects responsible.
