Chino bank robbery: Female suspect sought

CHINO, Calif. (KABC) -- Police are looking for a woman who they say robbed a bank in Chino on Monday.

The robbery occurred at Bank of the West in the 12500 block of Central Avenue shortly before 1:30 p.m.

According to police, the woman used a note to demand cash from the teller. She was not armed.

The woman then fled the bank on-foot with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

The suspect is described as a light-toned black woman in her 20s, 5 feet 5 inches tall with a thin build. During the robbery, she was seen in blue or gray scrubs with a tan-colored knit beanie and sunglasses.
