CREEDMOOR, N.C. -- Police said a male suspect robbed a bank in North Carolina while dressed as an elderly woman.

Police in Creedmoor were called to a SunTrust branch for a bank robbery around 5 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of South Main Street.

Police said the suspect entered the bank and passed a note to the teller demanding money. He was wearing a blue jean dress, red long-sleeve undershirt, red gloves, gray bedroom slippers, a black purse, glasses, and a long black wig.
