Culver City indecent exposure suspect arrested

CULVER CITY, Calif. (KABC) -- Culver City police have arrested a man wanted for indecent exposure in the area of the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook.

The suspect exposed himself twice this week at the popular exercise spot near Hetzler Road and Jefferson Boulevard, according to investigators. In both instances, the suspect was seen exposing himself in his vehicle between 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., when many people go to the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook for their morning exercise.

The suspect, identified as 24-year-old Brian Ashton Smith, was taken into custody as he was coming out of his home in Los Angeles at about 10 a.m. Thursday. No further information about the arrest was immediately available.
