Lake Forest investigation: Elderly man dead, woman injured

LAKE FOREST, Calif. -- Orange County authorities were investigating a death in Lake Forest Tuesday morning.

Authorities say their preliminary investigation indicates that it may be a domestic violence incident involving a couple on the 28800 block of Mountain View.

The 72-year-old female resident called a neighbor to ask for help just before 9 a.m. The neighbor called 911 and deputies found the 56-year-old husband dead inside the home.

An elderly man was declared dead at the scene, and an elderly woman suffered potentially life-threatening injuries. She was transported to a hospital in unknown condition.
