NORWALK, Calif. (KABC) -- An investigation is underway after a father and son were found shot to death in a home in Norwalk, sheriff's investigators said.
Walter Vicente, 49, and his son Andrew Vicente, 24, were found shortly before 9 p.m. Tuesday in a home in the 12300 block of Gettysburg Drive.
Both men were pronounced dead at the scene, shot at close range. Authorities said one of the men was found in the living room and the other in a bedroom. It was not immediately clear exactly when the men were killed.
A lieutenant working on the case told Eyewitness News that there were no signs of forced entry into the house and no evidence that anything was stolen.
Investigators did not have information on a possible suspect and said no weapon has been recovered.
Deputies at the sheriff's Norwalk station said they are stepping up patrols as a result of Tuesday's shooting, which they said was the third shooting since Saturday.
