BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (KABC) -- The FBI is asking for the public's help to find a man suspected of robbing a Beverly Hills Citibank while donning a surgical mask over his mouth and nose.

Dubbed the Patient Bandit, the suspect is described as a 55-year-old white male who is more than 6 feet tall with a large build, weighing 230 pounds.

On Nov. 28, the Patient Bandit robbed a Citibank located in the 8400 block of Wilshire Boulevard. According to authorities, he passed a note demanding cash and threatened to use an explosive device.

Witnesses at the scene said the man was wearing a New England Patriots baseball hat and that he had a clear bandage on his arm which looked similar to someone having their blood drawn. He also carried a black backpack.

On Dec. 5, a man matching the description of the Patient Bandit was seen on surveillance cameras at a Citibank on Third Street and Fairfax Avenue.

Witnesses described the man's activity as suspicious while he stood in the customer service line. He ended up leaving without conducting any business with the bank, according to authorities.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the FBI at (310) 477-6565 or dial 911.
