SOUTH LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Ferguson protesters in South Los Angeles joined the nationwide call to walk out of work or school Monday in the wake of a grand jury decision not to indict officer Darren Wilson.
Demonstrators gathered in front of the LAPD Newton Division and then headed from South L.A. toward downtown. They say they are trying to bring attention to what they call a culture of police brutality.
About 30 people blocked traffic as they marched to 65th Street and Broadway, where Ezell Ford was fatally shot by police earlier this year.
One protester was arrested and another was detained during the march.
