GARDENA, Calif. (KABC) -- Family and friends bid their final goodbyes to another victim of the San Bernardino terror attack Wednesday morning.
The funeral for Aurora Godoy, 26, was held at Calvary Chapel South Bay in Gardena. She was the youngest of the 14 people killed in the attack on Dec. 2 at the Inland Regional Center.
Her service included a movie tribute to a life cut short. Nearly 1,000 people packed the chapel to honor Godoy, who many people said had a big heart and lived her life to the fullest.
She graduated from Carson High School where she was involved in the cheer squad and ROTC. Her family and friends remembered how she loved adventure, Disneyland, the Green Bay Packers and New York Yankees and traveling long distances for gourmet popcorn.
"She just lived her life and loved and celebrated every day," family friend Jill Johnson said.
It was at Carson High School that she met her husband, James Godoy. Friends said she was a regular at the UFC gym in Corona where her husband worked and she would bring their 2-year-old son Alexander along every day. She even spent time with the employees at the gym and took classes.
