GLENDALE, Calif. -- Detectives are asking for the public's help to find the bank robber who held up a Citibank in Glendale.

Police said the suspect entered the branch on the 400 block of North Central Avenue around noon last Thursday and asked to cash a check. He then demanded money, indicating that he had a gun.

The man is described as an African American male, about 30 years old, between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall, 185 pounds with short black hair. He was last seen wearing black sunglasses with a gold frame, a black and red long-sleeve shirt and black pants.

Glendale police did not reveal how much money he got away with. No one was hurt.
