MISSION VIEJO, Calif. (KABC) -- Authorities are asking for the public's help to identify a woman who was found confused and disoriented at City Bank in Mission Viejo Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Orange County Sheriff's Department, the woman did not have any identification on her and could not give any information about herself to authorities. She was taken to Mission Hospital for dehydration and admitted under the name "Jane Doe." A fingerprint check yielded no results, officials said.

The only item she had on her was a one-day OCTA bus pass dated for Sept. 15 from the city of Pomona. Pomona police said they didn't have a missing person report matching the description of the woman.

The woman is being held on a medical hold at Mission Hospital until a psychiatric evaluation is done.

The woman is about 45 to 55 years old, stands 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes.
