EAST LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help identifying a man who was caught "peeping" at a park restroom in the East Los Angeles area.

Authorities say a boy was changing at a restroom near the basketball courts at City Terrace Park, 1126 North Hazard Ave., when he saw the suspect holding an electronic device and taking pictures or recording him as he undressed last Wednesday.

The suspect left the scene in a gold mid-2000s Toyota Camry. He is described as a Hispanic man between the ages of 25 to 35, 5 feet 10 inches tall and about 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing prescription glasses, a blue shirt, gray shorts and carrying a blue backpack with a red stripe.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS.
