SAN DIMAS, Calif. (KABC) -- A juvenile in San Dimas has been arrested after allegedly making a death threat against herself on Instagram.
Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies were called to Lone Hill Middle School last Wednesday after students told school staff about the social media post, which targeted that female student. She was even removed from campus for her safety.
Eyewitness News has learned the girl confessed posting the threat herself. Some of the Instagram photos reportedly showed weapons. Security at the school has been increased.
The case has been turned over to the district attorney's office
The girl's identity was not released.
