LAKEWOOD, Calif. (KABC) -- Two people were injured when gunfire erupted in the parking lot of the Lakewood Center mall Tuesday night.
The shooting happened around 9 p.m. near Macy's, officials said. Authorities were searching for a male suspect who fled the scene. No suspect description was immediately available.
Two male victims were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Investigators initially said there may have been a third possible victim who showed up to a local hospital, but it has since been determined that there were only two victims.
