A suspicious package was reported at a men's restroom in Los Angeles International Airport Saturday morning. Los Angeles Airport police quickly cleared the area and found that the box contained clothing.

Officers responded to the unattended box at about 7:15 a.m., which was left on the curb between Terminals 2 and 3 on the upper departures level, airport officials said.

The area was briefly evacuated and traffic was diverted. Officers cleared the package by about 8 a.m.

About 10 suspicious packages are reported every day at U.S. airports, airport officials said.
