Man injured in Ventura stabbing; 2 suspects sought

VENTURA, Calif. (KABC) -- Police are searching for two suspects who stabbed and wounded a 26-year-old man in Ventura Sunday night.

Officers say they received a call about a fight on the 1200 block of Saratoga Avenue around 10:25 p.m. When they arrived at the scene, they found the victim suffering from three small stab wounds to his upper torso.

The victim, whose name was not released, told officers that he was stabbed by an unknown object during an altercation with two male suspects in their mid-20s.

The suspects fled the scene for police arrived. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
