Man leaves wallet, pants fleeing stranger's bed

Santa Ana Police arrested a man on Friday for breaking into a female's room, disrobing and climbing into bed with her in July.

A man forcibly entered a residence on the 2100 block of West Civic Center in Santa Ana on July 22. The man removed his clothing and went to sleep in a female's bed with her in it, according to police.

The female woke up and screamed. The man woke up and escaped through a window, leaving his pants, wallet and cellphone behind. Police identified the suspect by his driver's license in his wallet as Jonathan Phan.

Phan was arrested on Friday for residential burglary after being interviewed by police.
