Man on bicycle shot, killed in San Bernardino

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (KABC) -- A man riding a bicycle was shot and killed early Wednesday morning, and homicide detectives are investigating the case.

The initial report came into San Bernardino police as a fatal pedestrian hit-and-run. The victim was said to have been struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Spruce and Pepper streets at around 3:30 a.m.

Upon investigation, authorities later determined that the victim was shot, and the incident did not appear to be a hit-and-run crash.
