Man shot inside bus in Exposition Park
A man was shot while riding a bus that stopped in Exposition Park on Friday evening. Police say he is expected to be OK.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A man was shot while riding a bus that stopped in Exposition Park on Friday evening. Police say he is expected to be OK.

The incident occurred at about 10:20 p.m. at 39th Street and St. Andrews Place. The bus later stopped at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Western Avenue.

The bullet came from outside the bus, Metro spokesman Jose Ubaldo said.

Los Angeles police said the bus was not the intended target of the gunfire. Investigators believe it was a stray bullet from a pedestrian or a nearby motorist.

No suspect information was immediately known.
