SOUTH LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A mysterious drone was spotted hovering over a fire at Animo South Los Angeles Charter High School on Tuesday.

Los Angeles police and fire officials say the drone is not theirs and they don't know who was operating it.

The 2nd-alarm fire erupted at the school in the 11100 block of Western Avenue around 2:15 p.m. School was not in session at the time and no one was hurt.

Fire officials say a roof, facade and exterior wall collapsed. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
