LAKEWOOD, Calif. (KABC) -- A photo more than 100 years old that was found in a CVS parking lot has been returned to its rightful family.

Anitra Rose set out to find the family after she discovered the photo during a trip to the store in Lakewood.

Dan Semonsen came forward Sunday. He said the man in the photo is his great uncle Otto. He's not sure how the photo ended up in the parking lot.

Semonsen and Rose met up in the parking lot, and Rose returned it.

"We got our picture back and I appreciate the help from Rosie. And I'll return it to our family, thank you very much," Semonsen said.

Semonsen, who is from Long Beach, says because of the photo's age, it is a very precious item.
