SAN PEDRO, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A teacher at San Pedro High School has been arrested for allegedly sexually abusing her 15-year-old student.
Michelle Yeh, 28, was arrested on Friday after the boy revealed she had "sexually abused him on several occasions," police said.
Yeh met the student while on a temporary teaching assignment at the school's science department. At the end of the 2014-2015 school year, Yeh "reached out" to the victim and arranged private meetings, where the sexual abuse allegedly took place.
She was released from jail after posting $100,000 bond and is due back in court on Aug. 12.
Investigators believe there may be additional victims since Yeh has held multiple temporary teaching assignments in the surrounding area and has also provided online tutoring.
Anyone with further information or who may have been victimized by Yeh was urged to contact the Los Angeles Police Department's Harbor Area, Detective Division, Sex Crimes Investigation Unit at (310) 726-7915.
