PALMDALE, Calif. (KABC) -- A semi-truck carrying 160 cattle was involved in a rollover crash in Palmdale on Friday.
The crash occurred near 47th Street East and Palmdale Boulevard shortly before 11:20 a.m.
Los Angeles County firefighters responded to the scene and pulled the animals out one by one.
Officials said some of the animals were killed and several were injured.
The condition of the truck driver was not available from authorities.
A fence was put up around the wreck to herd the cattle and allow crews to tend to their wounds.
The cause of the crash was not known.
