SOUTH LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- An overnight fire in South Los Angeles caused major damage to some apartments that share the same building as a marijuana dispensary.

The blaze erupted around 1 a.m. at Vermont Avenue and 115th Street. Firefighters contained the fire in less than an hour.

While there was serious damage to the building, there were no injuries reported.

Crews are looking to see if the fire may have originated at the marijuana dispensary.
