LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A Burbank-bound flight from Sacramento made an unscheduled stop in Los Angeles Sunday after an indication light linked to the aircraft's flap came on.
Southwest Airlines Flight 1429 left Sacramento International Airport for Bob Hope Airport around 3:43 p.m. PT Sunday. The plane was diverted to Los Angeles International Airport, LAX spokeswoman Amanda Parsons said.
The plane, which was scheduled to continue to Las Vegas, did not make an emergency landing. A Southwest Airlines spokesperson says the captain decided to land at LAX as a precaution.
The plane landed safely and no injuries were reported. Its 123 passengers were bused to Burbank, Parsons said.
