SUV crashes into pool during party in Ohio

LAKEWOOD, Ohio (KABC) -- A driver lost control of her SUV, crashed through a fence and landed in a swimming pool in Lakewood, Ohio.

The incident happened Saturday. The driver narrowly missed swimmers at a pool party taking place at the time of the crash. Debris hit several people at the party, causing minor injuries.

The owner of the house says the gathering marked the opening of his pool for the season, after several weeks of work.

The unidentified driver was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. She had no passengers.

There is no word on what caused the woman to lose control of the car.
