IRVINE, Calif. (KABC) -- A man with an apparent foot fetish is on the loose after he tried to massage several UC Irvine female students' feet.

A female student told police she was at the Langston Library around 4:30 p.m. on July 11 when she says a man asked her in Japanese to help him study for an upcoming English exam.

When they arrived at a study room, the subject attempted to contact the female inappropriately. She objected and left the area.

On July 15, the same man engaged several female students in conversation near the Student Center area and asked if he could massage their feet. He then took photographs and left the area.

The man was described as a 22-year-old Asian male, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, 155 pounds, with dyed brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on this investigation was urged to contact the UC Irvine Police Department at (949) 824-3398.
