VIDEO: ATM explodes in masked man's face

Dramatic video released by police in Darwin, Australia shows a masked man as he tried to blow up an ATM machine.

But things didn't go as planned, and the man's explosive device went off right in his face, sending him stumbling backwards.

In the video, the man appears to light a fuse of some sort when the device suddenly explodes in a giant fireball.

The man was last seen running away from the scene. Police also released a photo of the destroyed ATM machine.
