VIDEO: Deputy-involved shooting in Long Beach

LONG BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- A Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy was rushed to a local hospital after being shot during a confrontation with a suspect in North Long Beach on Monday. The suspect has died.

The shooting happened in the area of Long Beach Boulevard and 69th Street at about 10 a.m. after the suspect got into a fight with two deputies. The injured deputy was in stable condition after undergoing surgery.
