LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Why would anyone pay to be locked in a room? You might ask the thousands of people lining up across the country to test their wits in a sort of real-life video game.
They're called "Escape Rooms," and players pay around $30 to be locked inside a maze of rooms with only a few clues to help them escape before time runs out. The fun lies in solving puzzles, decoding riddles and finding clues -- all as a team.
