VIDEO: Witness captures violent carjacking during LAPD pursuit

MONTEBELLO, Calif. (KABC) -- Dramatic video from an eyewitness shows the most harrowing moment of a stolen vehicle pursuit, which wound from Boyle Heights to Montebello Monday.

Luis Mendez of South Bay Auto Collision shot the video above and says he made eye contact with the suspect.

"He looked to my face. I was so scared man," Mendez said.
