RADNOR TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- A McDonald's employee in Philadelphia's Main Line is accused of dealing crack cocaine from the restaurant's parking lot while at work.

The suspect was identified as Allen Trammell, 29, of Philadelphia, in a Wednesday morning news conference. He worked at the McDonald's in the 500 block of West Lancaster Avenue in the Wayne section of Radnor Township for the past two years.

Detectives were tipped off to the drug dealing in June and undercover officers made four buys between June and July, according to police.

He was arrested on Tuesday night after the most recent undercover buy.

"Our officers would call ahead from a cellphone, establish a date and time where they would meet Mr. Trammell - when he was working at the McDonald's. He would walk into the parking lot and would sell crack cocaine, in package form, to undercover officers," said Lt. Andy Block. "And then he would return back to work."

"More upsetting is that one minute he's out in the parking lot selling crack cocaine, the next he's in the restaurant selling food," Block said.

Trammell is charged with four counts of possession of a controlled substance, four counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and four counts of criminal use of a communication device. He's being held on $100,000 bail.
