GLENDALE, Calif. (KABC) -- ABC7 had some very special guests in the newsroom as the American Humane Association stopped by on Wednesday.
President and CEO of the American Humane Association Dr. Robin Ganzert visited ABC7 to discuss a first-of-its-kind program for zoos and aquariums around the world.
The American Humane Association launched a program to create a gold-star standard for zoos and aquariums to signify animals are being treated humanely.
To help promote the certification process, a lemur, spider monkey and a kinkajou visited the set.
