Cerro Gordo, California ghost town, up for sale

CERRO GORDO, Calif. (KABC) -- The 19th-Century mining town of Cerro Gordo, tucked in the Inyo Mountains outside Lone Pine, is up for sale, listed for the bargain price of $925,000.

There are almost two dozen buildings, including a church, saloon, historic hotel called the Belshaw Bunkhouse, a hoist house and a superintendent's house.

Cerro Gordo is considered a ghost town.

The property has been in the hands of the same family for decades.
