Looking to find love? Then here's the first date spots you need to check out.
According to a recent study by mobile dating app Clover, Starbucks is the most popular place to have a first date.
The app offers an on-demand dating option that allows its users to select a nearby location to meet up with a date.
After analyzing data from its 200,000 users between the ages of 18 and 65, Clover tracked the most popular first-date spots.
Starbucks, Chipotle, Panera Bread, The Cheesecake Factory and Texas Roadhouse all round out the top 5.
The study also reveals that men prefer to meet at restaurants while women prefer to meet at coffee shops.
All age groups ranked Starbucks as their top coffee spot. For restaurants, daters 18-24 prefer Chipotle, 25- to 34-year-olds prefer Cheesecake Factory, and those 35 and older go for Olive Garden. For bars, the youngest group prefers Buffalo Wild Wings, those 25-34 would choose to meet at BJ's Brewery and Restaurant for a pint, and those 35 and up would rather share a first drink at Yard House.
"We were surprised to see most people choosing to meet at coffee shops and casual restaurants for their first date," says Isaac Raichyk, CEO of Clover. "We expected fine dining, bars and nightclubs to rank much higher, but clearly people want to meet in a relaxed environment. Men seem more willing to commit to a first meeting over dinner at a restaurant vs. women who prefer being able to screen dates quickly over coffee."
