NEW YORK --Florida'sAleksander Barkov,Boston'sLoui Eriksson andLos Angeles'Anze Kopitar are the finalists for Lady Byng Memorial Trophy, it was announced Saturday.
The award is given to the NHL player who exhibited the best type of sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct combined with a high standard of playing ability.
Members of the Professional Hockey Writers Association submitted ballots at the end of the regular season. The winner will be announced June 22 during the NHL Awards in Las Vegas.
Barkov had a career-high 28 goals and 31 assists and had only eight penalty minutes in 66 games. Eriksson had 30 goals, 33 assists and 12 penalty minutes in 82 games. Kopitar had 25 goals, 49 assists and 16 penalty minutes in 81 games.
