Michigancoach Brady Hoke will meet with interim athletic director Jim Hackett on Tuesday afternoon, sources confirmed to ESPN.com, likely to learn about his future with the program.

Hackett said two weeks ago that he planned to evaluate the program at the end of the season, which came to a conclusion with a 42-28 loss to rival Ohio Stateon Saturday afternoon.

The loss to the Buckeyes gave Michigan its first losing season (5-7) since 2009 under former coach Rich Rodriguez. Michigan fired Rodriguez after the 2010 season.

Hoke told reporters after the Ohio State game that he planned to meet with the team Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m.

The meeting with Hackett, originally reported by Scout.com, will occur before Hoke addresses his players. A separate source told ESPN that Hoke's meeting with Hackett, who took over as head of the athletic department a month ago, is scheduled for 2 p.m.

Hoke is 31-20 in his four seasons as Michigan's coach. He led the team to an 11-2 record and an Allstate Sugar Bowl victory in his first year, but his teams have won fewer games each season since then.

Representatives from the athletic department did not immediately return requests to confirm Hoke's meeting with Hackett.
