Right tackle Bryan Bulaga has told select Green Bay teammates that he plans to sign a new contract with the Packers, sources told ESPN's Chris Mortensen.
Bulaga, who will turn 26 on March 21, returned after missing all of the 2013 season because of a knee injury to start all but one game in 2014.
It was an important year for the 2010 first-round pick to show that he could stay healthy. In addition to missing 2013, he missed the second half of 2012 because of a hip injury.
He was part of an offensive line that blocked for 1,100-yard rusher Eddie Lacy and allowed just 30 sacks during the regular season, which tied for ninth fewest in the league.
